Have you heard the good news?

God loves you! And He wants to give you eternal life.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son,
so that all those who believe in him should not perish
but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

God gave His only Son so that you might have eternal life.
What is eternal life?
"Eternal life is to know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom he sent" (John 17:3).
To know God is not just to know about Him but to know Him personally.
And to know him personally is to believe in him, to trust him,
to accept his gift of love, which is His only Son.
He is the life. Jesus said,

"I am the way, the truth, and the life;
no one comes to the Father, but by me."
(John 14:6)

Jesus Christ is the Son of God and if you have Him, you have life.
The Apostle John said,

"And this is the testimony,
that God gave us eternal life,
and this life is in his Son.
He who has the Son has life;
he who has not the Son has not life."
(I John 5:11-12)

If you do not have this life, you are dead even while you are physically alive.
If you do not have the Son of God, if you do not know him personally,
you are spiritually dead, separated from God, alienated from Him.
And if you are spiritually dead you need life.
God loves you and wants to give to you eternal life,
to make you spiritually alive.
God wants to save you from death to life. Jesus said,

"Truly, truly, I say to you,
he who hears my word and
believes him who sent me has eternal life;
he does not come into judgment,
but has passed from death to life."
(John 5:24)
